On Thursday the 9^th of February a Design Icons launch Party was held at Ruskin Gallery in Anglia Ruskin University to celebrate the design talent of Cambridge.

Design Icons: Exhibition recognises 20 of most important products to come out of Cambridgeshire over the last 40 years. The head of Cambridge School of Art, Chris Owen opened the event and was followed by other speakers: Julian Huppert; MP for Cambridge, Clive Grinyer; Head of Customer Experience at Cisco Systems and was concluded with a note of thanks from Clare Denham, Creative Front Manager.

Attendants had an amazing opportunity to explore the exhibits which spanned from the 1970’s to present day such as: the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Meridan M80 through to Prestige kettles, DuoFertility a fertility device and many others.
