Bizfix seeks Cambridge businesses to showcase

Published: 17th March 2011.

Cambridge News, in collaboration with Bizfix, is hunting for Cambridge businesses that can teach other local companies how to grow — even in tough economic times.

A regular series of articles will follow five local companies to discover how they are adapting to an environment of rising costs and increasing unemployment. Could you be one of the featured five?

Whether you are starting out; an established business that continues to do well; or a company that is changing to keep your business on track, this is an excellent opportunity to let people in Cambridge know about your business. Readers will discover what sets your company apart, while the region’s business community will also be able to learn from your experiences.

Chris Markham of Bizfix said: “With unemployment at its highest level since 1994, small businesses and entrepreneurs are at the heart of government plans to revitalise the Cambridge economy. Many local businesses are rising to that challenge, whereas others are under pressure just to survive. We hope these articles, offering practical advice from real people running real local businesses, will help Cambridge stay on top of the business game.”
