Hacker's Delight: The Great Weekender kicking off in Haverhill this weekend

Hackers Delight - The Weekender

Published: 04th August 2011.

The Centre for Computing History in association with MakeSpace hosts Hacker's Delight this weekend; an exciting event for anyone who likes to make and do stuff! Whether you're an electronics guru, software hacker, videographer, photographer, musician, ideas person, writer, blogger, tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor or just enthusiastic geek, you'll love this event. It's a chance to get together and socialise with other like-minded types in a creative and electric atmosphere with the one aim of helping create items, exhibits, displays and media for the museum.

The event is being held in the Haverhill Days-Inn Hotel which includes two function rooms, the main reception and several other rooms. It's a great venue for the event and enthusiastic hotel staff will be on hand throughout the weekend.

The weekend event is all about having fun, socialing, enjoying the good company of others but most importantly contributing to the museum and creating a community that gives everyone a sense of playing an important part in the creation of a museum.
