Arts, culture and quality of life - The political debate

Join the Parliamentary Candidates for Cambridge to discuss the role of arts and culture in Cambridge. This event, for local audiences and arts and culture professionals, is an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their views on the future of arts and culture in the UK.

Increasingly quality of life is an important local issue and this includes access for all of our communities to arts and cultural facilities and events. What roles can art and culture play in our society? How can our politicians commit to arts and culture in a tough economic climate?

Julian Huppert (Liberal Democrat)

Rupert Read (Green)

Daniel Zeichner (Labour).

Chair/moderator: Professor Helen Weinstein (Creative Director, Historyworks)
