BAFTA Indie Games Showcase: Frontier
Frontier's founder David Braben's work in games started back in 1982 when David co-authored the seminal game "Elite".
Frontier has built a uniquely diverse track record comprising games that have defined genres, been critically acclaimed and sold many millions of copies.
Frontier retains an 'Indie' spirit and runs a 'Game of the Week' initiative which encourages all staff to submit their own game ideas, those that make it through the tough peer-review system can go into full production.
Award winning 'LostWinds' started as a 'Game of the Week' and Frontier has recently announced two other games which have also been selected for full production and release later this year.
David will share tips and insights into how and why this process is important for the studio and its staff. The event will be followed by drinks and networking.
The whole evening is kindly supported by Autodesk.
Indie developers are positively encouraged to bring along and showcase their games over the networking.
